Let child refugees reunite with their loved ones

Every day, children fleeing war and persecution are forced to live apart from their families because of the UK’s hostile immigration system. Under current family reunion law, it's all but impossible for child refugees to join siblings or other close relatives in the UK—even when that’s all they have left.

The consequences are dire. Many end up stranded in life‐or‐death situations in places like Sudan, Iran or Afghanistan, or in overcrowded camps on Greek islands or Calais, vulnerable to exploitation. Last year, thousands risked dangerous journeys—and a record number lost their lives in our freezing waters.

We can’t let this go on. Every child deserves the chance to rebuild their life surrounded by the love of family.
